Young Artists Triumph at Woodend Studios

Susan Aggarwal in her Woodend Mill Studio

Warmco Properties and Woodend Studios were thrilled to see the beautiful work by local young artists on exhibition as part of our recent Open Studio Weekend.

This is the initiative of Woodend Studios, with special thanks to Susan Aggarwal who works directly with the young artists, mentoring and inspiring them to explore the world around them in their own unique way and represent their feelings and findings through creativity. Susan makes available a safe structure for them to work and flourish in, an environment where they can safely explore the many opportunities and questions this world can present to young people.

Susan also goes out and works with local schools to welcome them into joining us at these Open Studio events and then curates and hangs the whole exhibition.

Warmco Properties and Woodend Studio fund the materials required to bring these beautiful works to exhibition, including paints, canvases, framing etc…but it is Susan who brings everything else and is responsible for this important part of the events.

We very much look forward to seeing the next Young Artists exhibition and to supporting you in growing the beautiful relationship with local communities.
