Young Artists at Open Studio Weekend

Woodend Studios Welcomes Young Artists

We are delighted to be hosting some young artists work at the Open Studio Weekend; Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June 2024, 10am - 4pm.

Susan Aggarwal has arranged for some of her young students work to be exhibited, you will be able to see the work on Level 2 of Mill 2 and we highly recommend you visit.

Susan said:

"A collection of Art Pieces by local children . I have been running art classes with local children this year. Ages range from 5 years up to 14 years. Children enjoy the FREEDOM of working in a variety of art medium including: Textiles , weaving , press printing, painting using a palette knife, charcoal work and collage. Exploring their personal creativity children have developed their artistic skills using their own personal style of working. I encourage children to express and work with their own unique style of art so all the children’s work are so different but unique to them. In a relaxed and spacious environment the studio facilitates this ambience.

There will be more young artists work on display at Little Owl Studio, fabulous to see our studio holders teaching the next generation and ensuring local children learn the joy and wellness creativity and art can bring. We look forward to welcoming all the young artists and their friends and family.
