Fabulous Open Studio Weekend

It was lovely to see the mill so busy; filled with life and laughter. Everyone who opened their studio presented fabulous exhibitions and the number of workshops and opportunities for people to get involved was wonderful.

The mill boy puppet who visited from Global Grooves, The Vale was so charming and engaging. Our very own puppet designer and maker Chris Anderson of No Eyed Theatre had many of his delighted and beguiling characters on show. The children’s treasure hunt was a big hit with our younger visitors; so popular it is likely to become a regular feature.

Now it is time to catch our breath…just for a while because it is almost time to start planning the next one!

Well done everyone, let’s do it again soon!
